1) 5 multi-year studies report that cell phone use during pregnancy appears related to behavioral problems in children.

Conclusions Maternal cell phone use during pregnancy may be associated with an increased risk for behavioral problems, particularly hyperactivity/inattention problems, in the offspring. The interpretation of these results is unclear as uncontrolled confounding may influence both maternal cell phone use and child behavioral problems.
2) We all know that smeters emit microwave radiation in many 1,000s (up to 190,000) of short, strong signals each and every day. This is in addition to the Dirty Electricity described by Dr. Sam Milham in the article in last night’s update. Why are the provincial health authorities and the Liberal Party allowing us to be exposed to this possible (or probable, as many scientists report) carcinogen?
Smart meters and cell damage from pulsed EM radiation – our health at risk?
It’s striking that Pall singles out smart metering. “‘Smart meters’ should be abolished because they use short high-intensity pulses of microwave radiation. We know from the nanosecond studies these can be very damaging and act via VGCC [calcium channel] activation [his research] with activation continuing long after the pulse has ceased … It has been known for over 30 years that short microwave pulses can cause massive cellular damage.” See also his review of pulsed-microwave neurological risks, including from wireless smart meters (2015).
3) V2V transmitters in cars are major concerns for those who are sensitive as well as others who wish not to be exposed to RF while they drive. Here is an appeal from someone in the USA for the scientists to refute misinformation being given by the industry:
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is proposing to mandate V2V technology (radar), in all new cars and light trucks. The stated purpose of V2V is to improve driving safety by warning drivers of imminent crash risks in time to avoid them and pave the way for self-driving cars.
The antenna is omni-directional, allowed to transmit up to approximately 2 watts of power output at 10 Mhz and 5.9 Ghz with a range of 300 meters, or three football fields in length, every 100 milliseconds, or 10 pulses a second. The proximity of the transmitter to the driver and passengers is unknown, but could be inches to a few feet away from people in the car.
The NHTSA states they are taking RFR concerns seriously, however they make a couple of important inaccurate statements that I especially wanted EMF scientists and researchers to be aware of:
- No scientific evidence establishes a causal link between wireless device use and cancer or other illnesses.
- There’s no scientific basis to link EHS symptoms to EMF exposure.
- The National Environmental Policy Act does not apply.
- V2V will not have a disproportionate effect on children.
- Consumer education by the Federal Government and vehicle manufacturers may help to alleviate RFR concerns.
I am posting this here in hope some of the scientists could respond to their inaccuracies.

EMF Safety Network strongly opposes mandating V2V in cars and light trucks. V2V poses increased safety hazards to drivers, passengers, people in homes who live along roadways, cyclists, and pedestrians. Increased RFR exposure from V2V threatens nature, trees, birds, bees and other insects. Vulnerable populations such as children, seniors, people with electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS), and people with medical implants are at greater risk of harm.
We believe V2V technology will not make driving safer, but will make driving more harmful to people and the environment, create mobility access barriers, and should be stopped.
Dr. Alasdair Philips responded with this information about cruise control that has been used for years.
Although I support the call for no radar on road vehicles, be aware that most (if not all) cars and other vehicles that have a speed ‘cruise control’ (i.e. you can take your foot off the accelerator) also have front-facing radar built in. A few systems use LED lasers but it is not as reliable as the optics (send and receive) have to be kept clean. Almost all now use microwave radar. A few top-end ones use both.
First introduced in ordinary production vehicles around 1999, it was mandated in many countries a few years later to protect vehicles (and people) in front in case you fall asleep or doze or are just not paying enough attention – if your car on cruise control is approaching a vehicle (or other solid object) too fast for the distance, it will firstly remove engine power and then, nowadays, also apply the ABS brakes!
So it is not just autonomous cars; there are already millions of vehicles on the roads with front-facing radars built in.

Last night, a man and woman BC Green Party Canvass team came to our door to ask/encourage us to vote for Adam Olsen. Boy, did I give them a lecture!
I told them, in no uncertain terms, that we would never vote for the BC Green Party with Andrew Weaver as the party leader. I told them that he very snottily ignored everyone’s concerns about wireless technologies and wireless smart meters being mandated by BC Hydro and FortisBC.
I also told them that we voted for Elizabeth May for the Federal Green Party.
I mentioned that there are many reports coming out every month around the world about problems and concerns regarding wireless technologies.
They looked at me with very wide eyes, listened intently, and left.

The Telecom Industry is hell bent on foisting 5G infrastructure on communities around the country, and are aggressively pushing at the federal, state, and local levels for the right to place their 5G “small cells” in our public rights of way.
