1) Below is a letter from a sensitive member who has re-discovered sleep after shielding her bed with Swiss Shield. We have used Swiss Shield for several years (around our bed as well as our dog’s) and are able to sleep well despite being in an area of extremely high RF from many cell and FM transmitters. I know some people have not been able to tolerate Swiss Shield, so each individual must investigate for him/herself.

2) According to Dr. Louis Slesin of Microwave News, there are now at least 7 excellent studies showing the relationship between electromagnetic fields and miscarriages. I have been unable to find any guidelines for magnetic fields.
EMFs and Miscarriages: The Evidence Mounts
At Least 7 Studies Now Show an Association Kaiser’s De-Kun Li Answers His Critics
“Magnetic fields at levels commonly found in homes, offices and the urban environment have once again been found to increase the risk of pregnancy loss. The latest study — from Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, CA— shows that power-frequency fields can triple the risk of miscarriages.
“This study provides fresh evidence, directly from a human population, that magnetic field exposure in daily life could have adverse health impacts,” De-Kun Li, the lead author of the Kaiser study, told Microwave News. These findings “should bring attention to this potentially important environmental hazard to pregnant women,” Li urges.
There are now at least seven studies linking miscarriages to prenatal exposure to electromagnetic fields, according to Li.”
3) In March 2016, a dozen horses died in a fire that, according to witnesses, was caused by a smeter. Requests for information from the Fire Inspectors have led to dead ends, just as they did in BC in many instances. It seems that this is another smeter fire that has been swept under the rug.
“In further communications questioning that an object of origin for the fire had not been determined and that there was no indication of further testing, I was referred to the case investigator by the records custodian. The case investigator initially replied promptly and stated:
“No specific testing was conducted by me or my office. Once the fire was deemed not to be a case of arson, I turned the scene over to private sector personal [sic/personnel].””

4) A new group with a very interesting goal and website: “Physicians for Safe Technology”. Many links to excellent references.
We are a group of physicians and health professionals whose mission is to provide trusted leadership in promoting, healthy and safe environments through the safer use of technology at home, in schools, in the workplace, in healthcare settings and in communities.
Our aim is to prevent acute and chronic diseases by encouraging understanding of the connection between the public, psychosocial and environmental health effects of using modern technology.
This site will help to advance and translate multidisciplinary science regarding health and environmental impacts of wireless and digital technologies and provide recommendations for health professionals, policymakers and the public.”
5) A report on a growing market for clothing that helps protect EHS sufferers from exposure. I have no info about these companies or their products, but I think it interesting that this is an area of increased concern with companies seeing a demand as well as potential profit. This means awareness is growing.

Subject: 1 photo Swiss Shield RF protective bed net
Since 2015, I’ve had great difficulty sleeping; night became a battle ground despite my having spent thou$and$ on rewiring my house, non-toxic finishes & flooring, organic latex mattress & wooden frame, all-natural sheets & covers, etc. in the wake of mercury poisoning. Friend gave me some pot and said, Try it. It helped for a while but nothing worked for very long. My dogs started having difficulty with incontinence, particularly at night, as did I.
At about the same time, two duplexes with four smart meters and two families of ?drug dealers? with wifi, loud speakers, cell phones, etc. replaced an elderly couple with analogue meter and no wireless downhill and across the alley.
RF levels had increased on my deck in all directions, but I blamed the neighbours’ increasing use of wifi, etc.–until Tony noticed a “thing” on a pole half a block from, downhill and in line with my bedroom window.
Turns out it’s a Telus microcell transmitter, installed in 2015! They transmit most of their data–at night.
Since 2015 – Pre-net (with meds):
Go to bed; read, toss, turn, sleep 2-3 hrs. Wake up 2-3 a.m. & stay awake until 5-6 a.m., doze off until 8:30-9:30 a.m. Lots of pee breaks, night sweats, feeling parched with tongue stuck to roof of mouth; drink water, pee, go to bed, pee, drink water. . .toss, turn, listen to high-pitched clicking, screeching noises (louder than my normal tinnitus thanks to mercury poisoning), doze, struggle out of bed feeling exhausted, irritable and fried. Was becoming dependent on pot/alcohol to help me get to sleep and they weren’t working anymore.
Increasing exhaustion, depression, apathy, dependence on caffeine (aka chocolate) just to function. Increasing osteoarthritic pain, thirst, inability to concentrate or make sense out of basic stuff. Forgetting words. Muscle spasms, esp. at night. No motivation to do anything or frankly gave a damn about anything, just wanted someone to make it all go away–for a while, that was Tony (until he got fed up with my crankiness–I was fed up with it too, but didn’t know what to do about it). Not exactly the “Ms Independence” I’d cultivated. . .
Dogs: Moonbeam and Stubby “coincidentally” started peeing all night; Moonie improved with estrogen but succumbed to abscess/septicemia possibly overlying cancer in Sept. 2017. Stubby got so bad night and day that I had him euthanized in January 2017 because he was destroying my house; he couldn’t get out of bed without peeing and maple floors don’t do well with that. Both were 13 with kidney failure; vets essentially wrote them off as “old”–Dr. Magda Havas calls it “early aging syndrome”. My previous dogs died at 16+, same diet, same house, despite Nikki having had five years and Foxy six months of mercury exposure.
The whites of Eli’s eyes have been red for several months, esp. since Moonbeam died, and he’s been having difficulty keeping his food down. Belly looks full, but he vomits everything from pork – chicken – beef hearts & kidneys – fish – you name it. I’m ordering Swiss Shield to make a bed net for Eli and hope this will give him some relief, too, at least let my red heeler heal (he’s 10) before he “ages out”.
11 December 2017 – Post-net (no meds):
1st night: Got up twice for pee break, slept soundly immediately. No desire to read, eyes naturally closed and I fell asleep immediately–at 10 p.m.! Normally, I couldn’t even think of going to bed before 11-midnight (aversion therapy?). One sweat but nothing serious.
2nd night: In bed by 9:30 p.m. (movie was terrible), tried to read but Eli was feeling sick, so got up twice to let him out. Was asleep by 11 p.m. and slept the whole night until 6:30; PJs soaked with sweat, changed PJs & sides of bed. Felt so good in bed, I went back and slept another 2 hours until 8:30 a.m. Feel human for the first time since before my friend died in 2015.
FIRST NIGHT OF SOLID SLEEP IN THREE YEARS!!
If anyone tells you that radio frequency microwave electromagnetic radiation doesn’t do anything to us, tell them they are 100% misinformed. Sleep deprivation is military torture.
I’m not ready to get back into the fray just yet–I need my energy back and I’m concentrating on that right now–but I can’t help but wonder what this did to my relationships in all areas.
My apologies to everyone/anyone I may have inadvertently hurt with my increasing lack of empathy during these last three years.
Thank You ALL to the people who’ve stood by me regardless. You saved my life.
